  From April iv, 2022, to April 29, 2022, the School District of Osceola Schools will exist opening an online Parent Climate and Culture Survey to gather feedback from parents to advise the school and District leaders on improvement efforts.

• Osceola Virtual School Application Open!

  Osceola Virtual School is a K-12 school which accepts application twice per year. Osceola Virtual School will open it's application window on Friday, March 25, 2022. It is important to apply as soon as possible so that your child's awarding can be reviewed for eligibility and open availability.

• I hope you and your family had a condom and relaxing summer. Here at OCSA we have been busy preparing for this school yr with added excitement and are looking forrard to getting back to learning, growing, and performing together equally artists. This yr we accept added some new courses likewise as expanded some of our art areas.

  New to OCSA this fall volition exist guitar and keyboarding. These two constituent offerings assist round out our musical offerings and assist provide a foundation for all music majors. Additionally, we have Latinos in Action this twelvemonth which focuses on developing leadership skills, both in school and in the community, for our Latino students. Every bit a schoolhouse, we are implementing AVID (Advancement Via Individual Conclusion) strategies school-side to help ensure students receive the most effective instructional strategies and preparation for higher readiness. In dance and visual arts, nosotros were able to add a tertiary section for both allowing more talented students a chance to feel these majors.

  New and expanded offerings are merely a few of the exciting changes this twelvemonth. We will exist returning to a regular performance schedule including monthly recitals allowing students at all levels and in all majors an opportunity to shine on phase.

  Schoolhouse life was obviously much different final year with the Covid xix protocols that were in place. The commune has revised those protocols to allow for more than normal operations, but with some stipulations. Masks are no longer required, but students and staff are welcome to article of clothing them if they are more comfy. Social distancing is encouraged whenever possible, but there are no added restrictions regarding class size. Students who ride a charabanc to and from school will still be required to wear a mask while on the motorcoach. Our custodians will still clean regularly with approved sanitizing cleaners and paw sanitizing stations will be maintained throughout the campus. If students or staff are non feeling well, they are encouraged to stay home and go checked.

  Quarantine protocols are still in effect and will be facilitated by our school nurse following the guidelines given by the commune. Ane advantage we will have this year is when that situation occurs is that our students will all have their own device making the transition to digital for a brief time non interrupt their instruction as they will have access to assignments and feedback online. As always, we will follow the district guidelines to help ensure nosotros do all nosotros tin to ensure our students safety while on campus.

           I want to limited my sincere thanks to all of our OCSA family for your assistance and support every bit we get set to embark on an exciting school year and a render to performing and creating fine art to share. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such an amazingly talented and dedicated faculty and staff. They are truly heroes and a pleasure to piece of work with.
